When Linus Torvalds, a Finnish software engineer, first developed Open-Source Software , it was a major revolution in computing. Now today, Norway declared that they were making two popular open-source standards mandatory in all government use. This is a huge voctory for open-source, and a big blow to closed-source proprietary companies like Microsoft. Click here for more info.
